Nutrition Basics is a nutrition consultancy run by Sue Baic MSc RD, a registered dietitian and nutritionist.

Sue studied nutrition and dietetics as a postgraduate at King's College, University of London. She is registered as a dietitian with The Health & Care Professions Council and is an active member of The British Dietetic Association (MBDA).

Sue has several years experience in the NHS both in acute hospital settings and as a community dietitian in primary care. She also worked for over ten years as a Lecturer in Nutrition and Public Health at The University of Bristol where she was Programme Director for the Master of Science in Nutrition Physical Activity and Public Health.

Sue has also worked as a consultant to the food industry, PR, media and in private practice for the past ten years. She now runs a freelance nutrition consultancy, Nutrition Basics, and is passionate about communicating and promoting the links between diet and health.
